The Iowa Caucuses have kicked off the political process in this Election Year.  Historically, elections are great for job seekers.  The party who is in office will do all they can do to create jobs to be re-elected. Opponents will focus as much energy as possibly drawing attention the unemployment rate.  The campaigns of both parties will pour millions of dollars into the economy and again this is good news for you!

The last quarter of 2011 was one of the strongest quarters for hiring.  The momentum is building as we enter this new year with new hiring budgets.  The recent Wright Survey revealed that 85% of people currently employed would change their job if given the opportunity.  This upheaval in the job market will open more job opportunities that you’ve seen in the past couple of years.

Commit at least 35-40 hours a week to your job search if you are not employed. Your Job Search is your full-time job.  If you are working, dedicate at least 10 hours each week to your job search.  Your time commitment is essential to your success.  If you have not completed the 16 Step Process or Finding a Job that is outlined in our Career Portal, make that resolution today.  The process shared is filled with techniques used by professional recruiters and will escalate your results.
