Your list will grow. Whenever you start to doubt yourself, your self-image is shrinking; Look at this list daily!!! When you remember your past successes, your self-image grows!
1. Good Habits Inventory
2. Accomplishments – Successes include Career and Personal
3. Strengths w/ examples and why you are good at this area
4. Top 5 reasons why someone should hire you
5. Values Statements / Elevator Speech
Write your unique value that you bring to your next employer
Life Purpose Discovery Exercise
What do you think is your reason for being on the planet?
Speculate on some ideas as you answer these questions to discover your life purpose.
You’re looking for the greatest contribution you could make with your life
Hint: There are no “shoulds”. It is about what YOU want to use your life for.
Start by identifying what you DON’T want.
Go through the process of elimination
Narrow down the criteria you ARE looking for
What are the key elements?
Working with people or not?
Working on the computer or hands on?
Working indoors or outdoors?
Start to look for the “musts”
Life Discovery Questions
If money were not a problem for you, what would you do?
What is easy and effortless for you?
What has given you the most joy and satisfaction in your life?
What qualities do you admire in your roles models?
What area has been a constant challenge even though you have continually worked at getting better at it? For example: health, relationships, money, confidence, creativity.
What drives you that might benefit others? Typically, it’s an area where you are complimented.
List your favorite hobbies and passions in life.
In what area would like to be of service?
If you felt you could receive a good income for doing “this”, what would “this” be?
My Personal Charter – You can use mine as a “template” if you’d like. Just change it to reflect YOUR PURPOSE as you discover it.
My purpose in life is to be an everyday hero for myself and others. Inspiring people to see their greatness and encouraging them to inspire others.
